Reese Witherspoon's new approach to romance after past relationships
Reese Witherspoon reportedly content with where relationship stands with financier Oliver Haarmann
Reese Witherspoon is reportedly happy in her relationship with financier Oliver Haarmann, but she is not planning to rush into marriage again.
A source recently said the Oscar-winning actress is enjoying her relationship and feels no pressure to officially exchange vows after her previous marriages ended in divorce.
“Reese is very happy with Oliver, but she’s not interested in rushing into another marriage,” the insider told Star.
The source added that the actress has different priorities now compared to when she was younger
"The younger version of Reese would likely have felt differently, but at this stage of her life, her priority is feeling content and fulfilled in the relationship. She doesn't need a piece of paper,” the insider explained.
Witherspoon, 50, was previously married to actor Ryan Phillippe and later to talent agent Jim Toth. Both marriages eventually ended in divorce.
Her current partner, Haarmann, 58, is a German private equity financier. The couple have reportedly been dating since 2024.
Earlier this year, another source claimed their relationship works because they both lead busy and independent lives. Unlike many celebrity couples, they are not constantly together in public, but that arrangement reportedly suits them well.
The insider said their romance may appear “unconventional” to some people, but added that they are genuinely happy together.
Haarmann was previously married to businesswoman Mala Gaonkar, who is now married to David Byrne of Talking Heads.
