Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews faces fresh controversy after Dubai arrest reports

Katie Price is reportedly still trying to help her husband Lee Andrews after he was arrested in Dubai.

Andrews, 43, was taken to Al Awir Central Prison last month over what has been described as a "private civil matter." Earlier reports claimed he was being questioned over suspected espionage, but newer reports suggest the matter is rather financial.

Reports say Andrews may now need to pay more than £100,000 before he can be released from prison. Sources claimed Price has been visiting courts, police stations, and prison officials in Dubai while trying to sort out paperwork.

"Katie is desperately trying to get Lee out of prison. Despite everything that’s gone on, Lee is her husband, and Katie wants to get him out and get the answers she so badly needs,” a source told The Sun. 

"She has been to the prison a number of times now, including going there today, to try to get the paperwork sorted to secure his release. To be released, Lee will have to pay over £100,000."

The businessman has previously denied accusations that he is a conman or that he faces restrictions on leaving the UAE.

Past reports also linked him to financial disputes involving an ex-partner, including allegations connected to loans and mortgages. Andrews has denied all accusations.

Katie and Andrews married earlier this year after a very short relationship. Some reports also say Andrews had been missing for around two weeks before his arrest became public.

Price has said Andrews will eventually need to publicly explain the situation because of the speculations surrounding the case.
