Robert Pattinson made one move no other actors in 'The Odyssey' dared to make
Robert Pattinson reveals the question that caught Christopher Nolan off guard
Robert Pattinson reflected on joining The Odyssey cast.
Sharing his respond to a call from Christopher Nolan, Pattinson revealed the request he made that no other actors in the film dared to make.
In an interview with GQ, the Twilight Saga star shared that when he received a call from Nolan, Pattinson responded with "Yeah, can't wait to read it."
As per the actor, Nolan was left surprised as many actors would eagerly accept an offer from the acclaimed director without hesitation.
"You want to read it? Everyone else just said yes," Pattinson recalled the Oscar-winning director's response.
It is pertinent to mention that The Odyssey features an impressible ensemble cast including Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Lupita Nyong'o , Charlize Theron and Zendaya.
In the film, Robert Pattinson plays the role of Antinous, who is one of the story's primary antagonists, who seeks to seize Odysseus' throne and win the hand of Penelope during the hero's absence.
During his conversation, Pattinson also reflected on the demanding nature of the production. He noted that the filming schedule that spanned multiple countries left the crew "broken" at the end of every day.
Notably, The Odyssey is set to release on July 17.
