Why had Sarah Ferguson stayed at Royal Lodge until Andrew’s eviction? Question finally answered
There is a big reason why Andrew let Sarah Ferguson move back into the Royal Lodge after their divorce and the reason has just come to light
Sarah Ferguson’s decision to live with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor despite their divorce all those decades ago has been a major question mark, ever since the duo was evicted from the Royal Lodge.
For those unversed with the reason for this, it all happened after their connection to Jeffrey Epstein and the subsequent cover-ups were exposed.
Now, Andrew Lownie, the unofficial biographer of the former Duke of York has come forward with insight into ‘why’ Fergie was even allowed to stay for all those years.
He shared everything in a chat with Fox News Digital and it comes right as the paperback version of Entitled: The Rise and Fall of The House of York was released with a previously unseen chapter.
According to Mr Lownie there was a good reason for Fergie to stick it out, even after Andrew’s associations came out, because he was the first of Epstein’s circle to be publicly called out.
According to the biographer, “she hung in there because he was a member of the royal family, and that was her calling card for business. So, it was just a myth that they projected.”
It are event reports that Fergie was given Andrew’s blessing to entertain love interests in their shared home and according to Mr Lownie “he was much more generous when it came to her having her own relationships.”
Moreover the expert also revealed why the ex-Duchess was still living with Andrew when their eviction was made public and its because “she moved back in after she ran up a huge number of debts renting very expensive properties.”
“And I think they felt the solution was that if she moved in with him, that would solve the problem,” he explained. Especially since “he was away a lot, and she was away a lot promoting Weight Watchers and Wedgwood in the States. He was on naval bases or ships. So it made sense for them to live together.”
