New US UFO files prompt ‘Deep State classic’ claim from Rep. Tim Burchett–Here’s why
Second batch of UFO files include recordings, 51 audios and half a dozen documents
The Pentagon on Friday released a second batch of highly awaiting UFO files, highlighting a new phenomenon with reported sightings of orbs, discs and fireballs spanning 80 years ranging from 1948 to 2025.
The release also includes numerous audio recordings, 51 audios and half a dozen documents. The first batch of UFO 161 files was released on May 8.
The batch contains the reports of witnesses who saw "green orbs, discs and fireballs". For instance, a senior US intelligence officer reported a series of close UAP encounters in 2025 in a military helicopter over the Western United States.
He described "super-hot" orange, oval-shaped orbs that moved at high speed and formed a distinct triangle before.
Another important piece of evidence revolves around a 116-page report from the Armed Forces Special Weapons Program (1948-1950), disclosing 209 sightings from New Mexico, Sandia and these objects were reported to manoeuvre, explode or vanish.
The released videos also showed grainy infrared footage from 2018-2023. For instance, in one video one can see a shoot-down of an unidentified object over Lake Huron in 2023. Another video captures a spherical UAP over the Yellow Sea in 2022.
Soon after the release of the batch, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said, “"It's time the American people see it for themselves.”
The files do not provide conclusive evidence regarding extraterrestrial life or alien technology. The US government maintains the position that it is leaving the interpretation of these phenomena to the public.
Deep State classic
Speaking to the reporters, Rep. Tim Burchett called the new UFO files release “the Deep State classic”
“They won’t show y’all some of the stuff that we’ve seen. They’re gonna show stuff that is easily identifiable,” he said.
In an interview with Fox news, Burchett said, the Deep State is intentionally releasing videos of objects that are clearly not UAP or UFO as part of “disinformation” and clouding people’s judgement.
“I have a hard time with a Federal Government that thinks they’re so arrogant that Americans can’t handle what’s going on with this. This is the time for them to pull the curtain back and let the people see what’s going on,” the Congressman said.
