Miley Cyrus 'protective' of mom Tish amid Billy Ray and Liz Hurley drama

As Elizabeth Hurley grows closer to Billy Ray Cyrus and kids, his ex-wife Tish Cyrus is said to be upset.

Insiders revealed that tensions are brewing within the Cyrus family. This comes as Noah Cyrus invited her father and Braison Cyrus onstage during her performance at California's Stagecoach Festival. Later, Elizabeth praised the family moment on Instagram, sharing how much she enjoyed watching the trio performed.

On the other hand, Miley Cyrus and Brandi Cyrus are said to be "protective" of Tish Cyrus.

"They are very protective of their mom and can't help getting upset seeing her put through any sort of pain," the source said.

Sources also claim that Tish struggled seeing Liz bond with Noah and Braison following her divorce from Billy Ray in 2022. Notably, as Billy Ray first met Elizabeth while filming the 2022 movie Christmas in Paradise, this is sensitive topic for Tish.

However, the source noted, "Billy Ray and Liz are very clear that nothing went on between them at the time."

"They insist there was nothing more than a good working relationship between them. But Tish is never going to forget how it made her feel," they added.

While Tish is already married to Dominic Purcell, the source noted, "It doesn't matter how happy she is with Dominic."
