Brooklyn, Nicola Peltz face questions over separate outing during new Beckham family celebration

Victoria Beckham recently celebrated her father Anthony Adam’s 80th birthday with a large family gathering attended by much of the extended Beckham family.

Photos and tributes shared online showed several family members in attendance, including David Beckham and their children. However, the Victoria and David's eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were again noticeably absent from this celebration as well after over a year of estrangement.

Around the same time, Peltz shared photos and videos from a salon visit on Instagram. “My best friend took me to the salooon [sic],” she wrote in the caption, referring to Brooklyn who was within the camera frame. The slideshow also showed her hair transformation and pink roses seemingly gifted by her husband.

The post quickly fueled criticism, with some social media users questioning why the couple appeared to spend nearly all of their time together.

“Do you do everything with your husband? Do you have any friends?” one commenter wrote.

A second person wrote, "Beautiful but do you ever let him be his own person and do his own thing. Or let him contact his parents," to which another user replied, "or his grandpa on his 80th birthday..."

The criticism went on as another wrote, "Girl, isn't there anything you do alone or without your husband? They're practically glued to each other." 

The ongoing tensions between Brooklyn and the Beckham family have now surpassed a year. Brooklyn and Nicola married in 2022 in a high-profile wedding in Florida, which became a source of conflict between the bride and the groom's mother. Brooklyn eventually parted ways with his parents and siblings to support his wife.
