Billy Bob Thornton's 'bizarre' hyperfixation triggers shocking reactions
Billy Bob Thornton breaks silence on some of health issues that he has been facing for many years
Billy Bob Thornton has reportedly worried his family and friends over his punishing routine when it comes to diet.
Not long ago, the 70-year-old American actor and filmmaker recently showed up on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast, where he opened up about his rare blood type that may have affected his gastrointestinal wellness, as he keeps facing stomach issues and has several food allergies.
Thornton admitted that he has developed strange meal combinations and has excluded beef, pork, wheat, and dairy from his diet.
Now, an insider close to the Landman star told Radar Online that he spends most of his day planning his meals to minimize digestive issues, but he has unknowingly started taking his health issues on his nerves, which is making his family and friends anxious.
The source said, "Billy Bob has spent years managing these health problems, and food has become something he has to think about constantly. People around him worry because the restrictions are so extreme.
"Friends sometimes joke about his unusual eating habits, but there is also concern that he has become hyper-fixated on what he can and cannot eat,” they stated, adding, “It has prompted real fears he is suffering a form of food-related obsessive compulsive disorder."
“Billy Bob plans meals very carefully now because so many foods trigger reactions for him. At events or on set, he often ends up piecing together bizarre snacks simply because there are so few things he feels comfortable eating,” another insider shared.
