Heidi Klum has finally revealed what she had to endure after she stepped on the 2026 Met Gala in a statue-inspired look.

For those unaware, the 52-year-old German-American model and television host attended the show covered head to toe in white to emulate the texture of a marble statue. Her dramatic look was inspired by Raffaelle Monti's Veiled Vestal sculpture.

At the event, which was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, specifically at the Costume Institute, on Monday, May 4, 2026, Klum gave an interview to Vogue, revealing that she was inspired to be a sculpture after visiting the venue.

The Devil Wears Prada star said, “I was like, 'Wow, this is so beautiful,' the drape, and it's all on marble. But how can you make that with fabric? Because I look hard but I'm soft ... I can sit, I can eat. I can do anything.’

Klum’s ensemble was made using latex and foam, which allowed her to move around, but the real struggle she faced was while using the restroom, as it was not easy.

Also, she was seen resting against the seats in a sprinter van in an uncomfortable manner.

It is pertinent to mention that Heidi Klum also posted a video on her official account on TikTok on which she wrote, "Thinking about the fact that statues don't get bathroom breaks.”
