'Rebellious' Apple Martin makes mum Gwyneth Paltrow 'proud'

Apple Martin’s major milestone has made her mother, Gwyneth Paltrow, proud.

Taking to her Instagram, Apple posted a series of pictures, showing herself getting ready for her college graduation ceremony. Gwyneth, who welcomed her daughter with her former husband and Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, commented on her post that read, “SO proud!!”

The 21-year-old British model shared solo pictures as well as her with her friends ahead of her forthcoming graduation from Vanderbilt University in May.

She also added a caption under her post that read, "A bittersweet moment. How lucky we are to have these memories [a red heart emoji].”

Notably, this comes after Apple’s interview with Vogue, where she opened up about her desire to follow in her mother’s footsteps instead of making her career in law, as she majored in society, history, and law.

Revealing why she wanted to go to law school, Apple said, "I was in that rebellious 'I don't wanna be like my parents' type of phase.”

It is pertinent to mention that the Marty Supreme actress’ and the Paradise singer’s daughter likes to sing but she does not “wanna be a singer.”

"I like musical theater, but getting onstage by yourself to sing is so terrifying. I love dancing and I love acting. My dream is to act,” Apple said at that time.
