Paul Anthony Kelly is embracing fatherhood while balancing a busy career and he is giving major credit to his wife.
As fans will know, the actor, who welcomed his first child with wife Syd Widziszewski-Kelly in February,
Kelly opened up to PEOPLE Magazine about navigating the “whirlwind” of new parenthood alongside professional commitments.
Praising his partner’s support during this life-changing period, Kelly said, “I cannot speak more highly about my wife and just like the support that she has [given me]...becoming a father during this crazy whirlwind [time] is definitely not without its challenges.”
He went on to describe how he fully shifts into dad mode when he is at home.
“But the moment I'm home, I'm just present and in dad mode and changing diapers and cleaning up puke and all the good stuff that comes along with it,” he continued.
“But it is the most magical experience, and I couldn't be happier,” he reflected.
Meanwhile, he addressed in another chat with PEOPLE Magazine that he is eager to take on a villian role soon.
“I really want to play a villain,” Kelly said during an appearance at Disney’s Toast to Television event on April 27.
