Demi Moore reveals how she winds down after a hectic day
'The Substance' star got honest about her 'reset' routine
Demi Moore is giving her fans some insights into her wellness routine and shares why she loves doing a "reset."
In a recent chat with Elle, The Substance star revealed she starts her day, "with meditation and being present."
"I love journaling as well. Then I like to get my body moving and get the blood flowing. I also prioritize hydration and sleep," Moore continued.
The Striptease star shared she is "very intentional" about her evening routine, especially after a hectic day. Apart from doing her skin care, Moore noted that "taking the time to truly transition from the chaos of the day into a state of rest has been life-changing."
Reflecting on how with more experience she has learned to be less hard on herself, the 67-year-old actress added, "When I was younger, I was really trying to figure out who I was, and that can lead you in many directions. But now, learning to focus on longevity and health, there's no room for judgment because you're working toward a goal of strength and vitality and there's no one better to be than you."
Moore further shared that at this stage of her life, she sees new beginnings with a different lens, "I've really come to love the word 'reset.' I appreciate the journey that I've been on, but sometimes you do feel like you want to reset, in a way. I really believe in the power of choice, so it's not about starting over; it's about choosing a new path, a new direction for yourself and your future, at any stage of your life."
Moore has been vocal about her wellness habits, as he previously shared in an interview with People that she does not eat meat and only eats eggs for protein, as she is more focused on "nutrient-dense" foods.
