Brenda Song reveals how Mindy Kaling, Kate Hudson helped her redefine career
Brenda Song has weighed in on navigating her life in Hollywood after having two kids
Brenda Song is reflecting on her career-defining role.
Speaking to Extra, she explained that the project, Running Point, in which she plays Ali Lee, has been a professional and personal transformation.
"I always said I've worked my whole life for this moment being able to work on a project where I love the subject matter so much, being such a huge [Los Angeles] Lakers fan."
Brenda also noted that the role arrived at the perfect time in her life since she "was actually at such a crossroads just feeling like, 'I just had two kids,'"asking herself, "Just feeling like, ‘Where do I fit in this industry?'"
The acting sensation also stated that working under the creative vision of Mindy Kaling and alongside Kate Hudson has clearly provided her with a supportive environment to thrive.
"And chatting with Mindy and working with Kate, these two women inspire me on such a personal level outside of all of this craziness."
"It has been such a wonderful experience, and I just hope we get to keep doing it," she concluded.
