Dolly Parton proved to be a caring and faithful wife for her late husband, Carl Dean.

Now, one year following his death, a resurfaced report from RadarOnline.com stated how the 79-year-old American singer-songwriter and actress coped with the loss of her dear husband as Dolly was set to head to Las Vegas last winter for a highly anticipated limited residency.

In this report from August 2025, a source tipped, "It's been a little over four months since Carl died, and Dolly's been so brave."

Despite grieving the biggest loss of her life, the Oscar-winning singer "is looking forward to hanging out with the crew and meeting up with some friends for laughs and maybe the occasional glass of wine in Vegas, though she's not a big drinker."
