James McAvoy secretly welcomes second baby?
The actor gets candid about becoming a dad again in his 40s
James McAvoy secretly welcomed his second kid years ago.
In a recent chat with People, the 46-year-old actor opened up about becoming a father again in his 40s and how it's been different from becoming one in his 30s.
It is pertinent to mention that the 'Atonement' actor welcomed his second son, first with wife Lisa Liberati. Their son is now four.
Expressing his thoughts on welcoming kids in his 40s, James shared, "Having a kid at 42 is definitely easier in some ways."
The Split actor explained, "I worry less. I'm a bit more philosophical."
However, there is still one thing that makes the fatherhood journey difficult later in life, aging, admitted James.
Acknowledging that with aging, becoming a dad becomes "harder, because you're just older and tireder."
James is also dad to 15-year-old son Brendon, whom he welcomed with his ex-wife Anne-Marie Duff.
Back in February 2022, James told the outlet that he got married to Lisa in a private ceremony.
The pair first met at the set of the horror film ‘Split’ as Lisa worked as the personal assistant of the film's director, M. Night Shyamalan.
James has been keeping his life private since his divorce from Duff, as he revealed in a previous chat with Mr Potter in 2017, noting, "One of the things that's stayed the same is that I still don't talk about my personal life, really."
