'Ted Lasso' star Phil Dunster gives exciting update about upcoming season
The new series of 'Ted Lasso' is expected to be released in theaters in August
Phil Dunster, best known for playing Jamie Tartt in Ted Lasso, has offered an exciting update about the series' upcoming fourth season.
In a new interview with Radio X, the 33-year-old actor expressed his excitement for the new installment, although he humorously admitted that he might not be returning.
"I guess they haven’t asked you back," the host said.
To which, Phil quipped, "Well, can you believe it?"
"I’m very excited that it’s happening; that it’s coming out and it’s been shot," shared the All Is True actor.
Phil further told the host that his wife is directing several episodes of Ted Lasso's new season.
"I have an inside line to it because my wife is actually directing some of the episodes," said Phil.
"Isn’t that amazing? Ain’t that wonderful?" he exclaimed, to which the host responded, "That’s great."
The host then teased the actor, adding, "So, she’s now on it, but you’re not on it."
"Yes. They didn’t think to have me back," confessed the Rooster star, revealing that there’s going to be a new team now.
For those unversed, the new series of Ted Lasso is expected to be released in cinemas in August.
