Prince William, Kate Middleton's kids turn King Charles' royal photoshoot into hilarious moment
Funny behind-the-scenes story of King Charles' famous birthday photo
King Charles' birthday photoshoot turned into a hilarious family moment after Kate Middleton and Prince William children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis burst into laughter.
Royal photographer Chris Jackson shared behind-the-scenes of the memorable photograph taken in 2018 to mark the 70th birthday of the monarch, while he was still Prince of Wales.
The royal family picture included senior members of the family, including Queen Camilla, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan.
According to Hello! Magazine, speaking on A Right Royal Podcast, Chris said, "We were trying to think about how to make it a little bit more lighthearted. When you do these formal portraits, it can be a little bit stiff."
He went on to add, "It was a lovely moment, the kids laughed"
"The grown-ups laughed. So what I loved is that we got the formal photo that we needed for history, I suppose. And then just came a really fun moment that resonated with people, everyone enjoying themselves," the royal photographer noted.
It is pertinent to mention that previously Chris expressed his honour to be asked to "photograph the former Prince of Wales and his family in the gardens of Clarence House as part of his 70th birthday celebrations."
"Official group pictures can be unpredictable, certainly when little people are involved. After some deliberation with the former communications secretary to the royal couple, I was able to secure permission to do things a little 'differently'," he said at the time.
