Britney Spears reportedly has been feeling the sting of loneliness after spending time away from sons
Britney Spears' social circle believes that she is a lost cause and that serious intervention must be done following her new legal drama.
In a recent report by Us Weekly, an insider revealed her team's deep concern regarding her condition and the believe that the pop star will learn her lesson and end up in a better place.
"Her team wants her in rehab or a program to help her get to a better place," an insider told Us Weekly.
"Everyone around her hopes this will be a wake-up call for her," the source added.
For those unversed, the singer was taken into police custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of a combination of alcohol and drugs near her home on Wednesday in California.
Fans noticed few hours after the arrest became public that Spears’ Instagram account had been deactivated.
An insider spilled the beans saying that this type of behavior is not something new, and that the 45- -year-old singer has been acting up lately due to long hours of loneliness.
“This behavior has been going on for months but has been worse recently,” an insider told the publication.
Furthermore, Spears' rep told Us in a statement on Thursday, calling the singer's actions unacceptable and speculating that this would be the turning point of Britney's life.
"She has a lot of alone time at home which leads her to make bad choices like drinking. She's at home now and [her son] Jayden is going to spend time with her to keep her company," the insider continued.
The source added, "Britney's very upset but doesn't truly understand the implications yet.”
