A beauty influencer in Brazil has suddenly passed away after suffering a “medical emergency." She was 25.
Maria Rita Rodrigues, who had more than 11,000 followers on Instagram and 65,000 on TikTok, lived in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. She was known for sharing fashion and beauty content, including reviews of popular makeup products.
The influencer's death was announced by her parents on social media.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter Maria Rita," they wrote.
Shortly after the news of Maria's death broke, her fellow content creator and friend, Luana Lilian, took to her Instagram handle to pay tribute to the late influencer.
Luana penned that the late beauty influencer was a “charming person” and “one of those presences that effortlessly illuminate a room.”
She further wrote, “To the family, I send my most sincere and heartfelt embrace. May you find strength in the love she planted in every person who had the privilege of knowing her."
"Her light remains in every memory, in every story told, in every life she touched — including mine," concluded Luana.
