Halle Berry reveals why she hasn't accepted Van Hunt's marriage proposal

Halle Berry has finally shared why she has not accepted her boyfriend's marriage proposal yet.

The Never Let Go actress, who has been dating Van Hunt for almost six years, revealed last summer that he had already proposed to her.

Now, she told The Cut magazine, "I haven't said 'yes.' I don't think we need to be married to have a meaningful relationship."

"I don't know if we will ever get married," added the 59-year-old star.

Halle, who has been married three times before, further told the publication that each breakup happened for a reason.

"After my third divorce, people started to say, "What's wrong with her? She's crazy. She can't keep a man,"' she said.

"And I would always argue, "Who says I want to keep a man if he's not the right man?"' continued the Monster's Ball actress.

Recently, an insider told People magazine that Halle is not in a rush to marry Van.

“They have talked about marriage, but Halle is happy as it is. She wants things to stay the way they are,” the source said.

On the professional front, Halle is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, Crime 101. The highly anticipated movie is set to hit theaters on February 13.
