Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi's upcoming filming Wuthering Heights to hit cinemas in February 2026
Fans are eagerly waiting for Margot Robbie's next film Wuthering Heights to release next month.
The Australian actress stars as Catherine while Jacob Elordi plays the role of Heathcliff in the upcoming film adaptation of Emily Brontë’s novel of the same name.
During the promotions of the film both the actors have talked about the experience of working with each other.
Speaking about her co-star, Robbie described developing a quick, “codependent” relationship with Elordi on set, noting his constant presence in her vicinity.
Director Emerald Fennell confirmed she did not instruct Elordi to observe Robbie and even had to ask him to leave at times.
Robbie admitted feeling “unnerved” and “lost” when Elordi was not watching her, while Elordi called their dynamic a “mutual obsession”, praising Robbie as an ”elite actor”.
According to Independent Robbie defended Elordi's casting as Heathcliff, a character traditionally depicted with dark features, despite fan disapproval, asking audiences to watch the film before judging.
Their remarks about each other have left some people confused about their personal relationship, with many asking whether they are a couple.
For those unware, Margot Robbie,35, is married to British assistant director Tom Ackerley and the couple welcomed their first child, a son, in October 2024.
On the other hand, Jacob Elordi, 28, is reportedly single since his split from influencer Olivia Jade Giannulli late last year. He has also dated Kaia Gerber, Zendaya, and Joey King.
