'Kanye West is human too'
Kanye West appears to walk back on the hateful rhetoric of his past
In the wake of Kanye West’s shocking controversies, Dean Cole, a comedian, says he is "a person too." His remarks come in light of the comic bringing out Ye at his comedy show at the Hollywood Improv studio.
Along with the Chicago rapper, his wife, Bianca Censori, was also present. Reports at the time say the Grammy winner had a fun time there, laughing and enjoying.
Following the show, Deon recently, in a chat with the press, looks back at the event, saying, "He needed that, man ... people keep forgetting, he's a person too."
In other news, Teyana Taylor, who has collaborated with Ye in the past, came out in strong support for him during her conversation on the 2026 Golden Globes red carpet.
“I don’t have to agree with everything that he do or say, but I’m not going to, like, abandon him and be like, ‘Yeah, eff that mother******,’" she told Variety. "My brothers do s*** that I don’t agree with.... I don’t get into any of that.”
In addition, Teyana for Perfidia Beverly Hills in One Battle After Another, won the Supporting Actress category in the 2026 Golden Globes.
This win pushes her name into the favourites for receiving a nomination in the 2026 Academy Awards.
In the meantime, Kanye has announced his much-anticipated album, Bully, which will drop on Jan. 30 after a delay.
