Elon Musk has sought sole custody of his one-year-old son, Romulus with Ashley St. Claire after she came forward with her support for the transgender community.

The CEO of X revealed his plans regarding filing a petition to have the full custody of son with Ashley St. Claire follows the conservative influencer issuing an apology for making transphobic comments.

Taking to X, the 54-year-old billionaire posted, “I will be filing for full custody today, given her statements implying she might transition to a one-year-old boy.”

However, it remains unclear whether the influencer expressed any desire regarding a gender transition for her son, who was born in late 2024.

St. Clair responded to an X user who questioned her past comments related to egregious transphobia.

She wrote, “I feel immense guilt for my role. And even more guilt that things I have said in the past may have caused my son’s sister more pain.”

“I don’t really know how to make amends for many of these things, but I have been trying incredibly hard privately to learn and advocate for those within the trans community that I’ve hurt,” she added.

St. Clair also said previously she was hesitant about acknowledging her mistake as the people would consider her apology as “disingenuous.”

Elon Musk and Ashley St. Clair first came to know about each other on X and later began a relationship as they worked together in San Francisco.
