Jennifer Lawrence reveals why she discusses her kids in interviews
Jennifer Lawrence shares touching reason for opening up on motherhood
Jennifer Lawrence opened up about the reason behind discussing her kids in interviews even though she swore not to.
In a recent chat with The Hollywood Reporter, the 35-year-old actress, who is mom to two sons, explained that despite the initial plan of not talking about her kids in interviews, she finds it inevitable.
"I was surprised when I started doing this because I've always been really strict about, 'I don't want to talk about my kids,'" Lawrence began.
"But it's impossible not to, so I've landed on, 'I will talk about my experience as a mother,'" she admitted.
"But it did make me realize that it was not something I had considered," the Passengers actress added.
In a previous chat with W Magazine, Lawrence revealed that during the filming of her new movie, Die, My Love, she was in her second trimester of her second son.
"I knew I was going to be doing the movie, and I also knew that I needed a second child before my other son got too old," Lawrence told the outlet in November.
She noted that working in the second trimester was good because "in the first trimester, you're very sick; and in the second trimester, you start to feel better."
