Kate Hudson talks about her young daughter turning into a fashion critic
Kate Hudson admits her daughter can get very critical about her style choices.
The actress, who sat in with Seth Meyers this Wednesday, revealed that her seven-year-old daughter Rani Rose Fujikawa, did not like her hairstyle in new song, Song Sung Blue.
Speaking on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Hudson revealed: “I put my hair on, I'd FaceTime my kids, and they were like, 'You can't FaceTime us with this hair.’”
"Oh yeah. She had a hard time with this hair," she recalled of her daughter Rani as she laughed.
"Well, she likes sequins, but she doesn't like anything puffy," Hudson said of Rani's sartorial
"She's very specific. It's like having Anna Wintour in your house," she quipped.
This comes as Hudson spoke about marking 30 years in Hollywood. She said: “I think the first thing that comes to mind is the people that I've met, the connections. They always feel like my biggest gifts.”
Hudson said. “I feel so lucky to be surrounded by people who are endlessly fascinating, intelligent, and wild. People who live, or at least strive to live, outside the norm.”
“All I ever wanted to do was musicals,” she said. “This isn’t exactly that, but it feels like everything I’ve studied and worked toward came together in one film and that doesn’t happen very often,” she noted.
