Titanic is an evergreen movie, hailed by many, but Leonardo DiCaprio, who shot to prominence in the role of Jack Dawson, has never rewatched the award-winning film.
He shares this insight, which might come as a shock to some fans of the romantic drama, in an interview with Jennifer Lawrence on Variety.
"Have you rewatched Titanic?" asks the actress who co-starred with him on Don't Look Up. Briefly, the Oscar winner replies, "No. I haven't seen it before."
His response leads Jennifer to urge him, Oh, you should. I bet you could watch it now, it's so good."
But The Wolf of Wall Street star supposedly has a rule: never watch his own films. As he describes, "I don't really watch my films, do you?" But the Die My Love star was adamant. "No. I've never made something like Titanic; if I did, I would watch it."
Elsewhere in the interview, the 35-year-old recalls an anecdote in which he accidentally took an Ambien while filming The Hunger Games: The Catching Fire. “I also once took an Ambien in the morning, thinking it was something else," she continues.
“It was a dance scene with Philip Seymour Hoffman in the second ‘Hunger Games’ movie. I was hallucinating. Elizabeth Banks got really annoyed with me," Jennifer concludes.
