Why Amy Schumer, Chris Fischer still living together despite split
Amy Schumer announced her split from Chris Fisher on social media on December 12
Amy Schumer and Chris Fisher are reportedly still living together despite ending their 7-year marriage.
On Monday, an insider told Page Six that the 44-year-old comedian is still sharing a home with her estranged husband for the sake of their young son, Gene.
“She expects that they’ll co-parent full-time together and that he’ll see Gene almost as much as he does now — if not more,” the source said.
“They are still largely under the same roof, for the kid’s sake," a tipster added.
The source further told the outlet that the Trainwreck actress wants Chris to be “super involved” in the day-to-day care of their six-year-old son.
“She wants them to continue to be very much united when it comes to raising their son,” the source said.
The confidant continued, “Amy wants Chris to stick around for Gene … If she contemplates another comedy tour at any point in the future, she wants Chris to be the one looking after Gene and ideally be willing to travel with her."
“She just never wants to be romantically involved with him again," the insider added.
For those unversed, Amy announced her split from Chris on social media on December 12.
