Amy Schumer’s shared surprising post hours before divorce post

Amy Schumer gushed over husband Chris Fischer a few hours before making an announcement of their separation after seven years of marriage.

The I Feel Pretty star confirmed her shock split from Chris on her Instagram account on Friday, emphasizing that they have parted ways on "amicable" terms.

However, the split came hours after sharing a throwback video from her 2021 endometriosis surgery, seemingly recorded by Chris.

"Just found this from years ago pretty. My truest self. Chris dug it," Amy wrote in the caption.

"I've been through a lot with endometriosis. Tell someone you love they shouldn't have heavy excruciating periods. @endofund donate along with me today," she reflected.

In the video, Amy can be seen under the influence of anesthesia post-surgery, saying, "We sit at the bar, we get a couple drinks. We just have a blast."

While Chris seemed to be heard chuckling while recording.

Shortly after posting this clip, Amy announced her divorce.

She posted a photo with Chris and wrote in the caption, "Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years. We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time."

"Blah blah blah not because I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag s basket and not because he's a hot [James] beard award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail. Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever," she added.

It is pertinent to mention that the pair tied the knot in 2018 and also share a six-year-old son named Gene.
