Nicki Minaj slams politician over 'trans' remarks

Nicki Minaj is known for her vocal views, which she put on display on X when she slammed a politician for his remarks on trans youth.

He was California Governor Gavin Newsom. The hopeful presidential runner for 2028, while appearing on The Ezra Klein Show, stated, “I want to see trans kids… There’s no governor who’s done more pro-trans legislation than I have. No one has been a stronger advocate for the LGBT community.”

The quote went viral on social media. Nicki weighs in with a series of social media posts, launching satirical jabs at him.

“Imagine being the guy running on wanting to see trans kids. Haha. Not even a trans ADULT would run on that. Normal adults wake up & think they want to see HEALTHY, SAFE, HAPPY kids. Not Gav. The Gav Nots. GavOUT. Send in the next guy, I’m bored," the 12-time Grammy-nominated singer pens.
