'Ted' season two official premiere date at Peacock revealed
'Ted' series is a prequel to a hit movie of the same name starring Mark Wahlberg
Ted season two has finally been given a premiere date, as Seth MacFarlane, who plays a foul-mouthed teddy bear, will return next March 5.
The series, a prequel to the fantasy-comedy-drama franchise starring Mark Wahlberg, was first released on Peacock in January 2024 and swiftly rose to the streamer's top shows.
Along with Seth, Max Burkholder, Scott Grimes, Allana Ubach, and Giorgia Whigham have been returning to the show.
While starring, Seth has worked as co-writer, director, executive producer, and co-showrunner on the show. Apart from him, Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh serve as writers, executive producers, and co-showrunners.
Further, Erica Huggins, Alana Kleiman, Jason Clark, and Aimee Carlson of Fuzzy Door also work as executive producers.
Meanwhile, an animated sequel to Ted is in the works, with the film's key cast returning, including Mark Wahlberg, Amanda Seyfried, and Jessica Barth.
The logline of the series reads, "John (Burkholder) is trying to survive high school, which is no small feat when your best friend is a talking teddy bear."
"Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he’s a loyal pal who’s always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.”
