The royal family on Wednesday marked the final day of of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, sharing a message from Queen Camilla.
A clip from "Behind Closed Doors" documentary featuring Camilla was shared on the official Instagram account of the royal family, highlighting the enduring shame carried by domestic abuse survivors.
In her message, the Queen urged the society to convince the victims that it’s not their fault so they can begin to heal.
The Instagram post emphasised that “too many lives are lost to domestic abuse each year”, renewing the royal family's commitment to supporting survivors.
