Johnson Wen faces another controversy after spending time in jail
Johnson Wen confirms the incident on social media, stating fans booed him before the concert even started
Johnson Wen, an influencer who recently rushed the stage during the premiere of Wicked: For Good in Singapore, has been escorted out of Lady Gaga's concert.
Several clips show the security at the event taking him out of Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane before the show began.
Johnson, in response, took to Instagram under the name Pyjama Man to confirm the incident, writing that fans were booing him before the concert even started.
“Got kicked out of Lady Gaga concert! The show doesn’t start till 8 p.m.! The early fans were booing me," he pens.
Not only has a month passed since Johnson was engaged in another controversy. Earlier, he generated much buzz with his stunt at the Wicked: For Good red carpet in Singapore.
During the event, he jumped a barricade to rush Ariana, who, videos show, was shocked by his sudden charge. Cynthia Erivo, who was standing near the actress, instantly protected her by stepping between them.
Johnson, at the time, also posted regarding the incident, penning, “@arianagrande @wickedmovie Dear Ariana Grande, Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You.”
He was placed in jail for 9 days after the influencer pleaded guilty to a charge of public nuisance in a court in Singapore.
The 26-year-old was also banned from entering the Southeast Asian country and was sent back to Australia.
