Sutton Foster feels 'crushed' as Hugh Jackman prioritizes ex Deborra-Lee Furness

Hugh Jackman is reportedly planning to celebrate Christmas holidays with his ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness, putting his new romance with Sutton Foster in jeopardy.

Radar Online reported that the 57-year-old Australian actor and singer is flying back to Australia to be there with his ex-wife and their two adopted children: son Oscar Maximilian Jackman, born May 15, 2000, and daughter Ava Eliot Jackman, born July 10, 2005.

For those unaware, Jackman and the 70-year-old Australian actress were married for 27. The couple, who tied the knot in April 1996, announced their separation in Sepmtember 2023, and finally got divorced in June 2025 after filing it in May 2025.

An insider told the outlet that Jackman’s bold step has “crushed” Foster, as it came unexpectedly and has left her with many questions about her future with him.

The X-Men star “is adamant this is no reflection on how he feels about Sutton, but people close to her say she's crushed. Hugh swears he's still madly in love with Foster, but he's also got his kids to think about and the fact is this divorce has been very tough for them.”

"Now that he and Deb are finally on good terms again, Hugh wants to give the kids a taste of normalcy. They have so many holiday traditions and as hard as it will be for Sutton to miss out, Hugh feels it will be the best thing for his kids,” the source stated.
