King Charles and Queen Camilla have sent love and support to their beloved daughter-in-law Kate Middleton after they skipped her annual Christmas carol service.
The Wales family gathered at Westminster Abbey on Friday evening for Kate Middleton’s annual “Together at Christmas” service—but notably absent were both King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Charles and Camilla move was not unusual as they have only attended the Christmas service once, in 2022, and have not returned.
In 2022, Kate’s Christmas carol was held just a few months after Queen Elizabeth’s death, and the service was a tribute to the late monarch.
Following the service on Friday, Kensington Palace shared photos of Kate Middleton with the family and guests with a heartfelt message.
Palace, on behalf of Kate Middleton says, “So special to come together this evening for this year’s ‘Together at Christmas’ Carol Service.
“Grateful to everyone who helped make it such a warm and memorable celebration of love at Christmas.”
Fans and friends flooded the comments section with sweet messages.
