Meghan Markle accused of showing no respect to Prince Harry

Meghan Markle has been accused of showing no respect to her husband, Prince Harry, during her Netflix Christmas special, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration.

The Duchess of Sussex raised eyebrows for how she treated the Duke on screen with an expert claiming that she appeared “dominant” on screen.

According to OK! Magazine, body language expert Judi James said that Meghan’s actions were “performed with an air of fond indulgence but showed no real respect” towards Harry, who is a prince.

She noted that in the special, Meghan took on a very motherly role, handing Harry a towel while joking about him sweating and giving him playful kisses as he ate.

"Harry's role in these videos seem to be one of 'surrendered male' letting his wife be the star and of course be more dominant," said the expert.

"As a result, the 'complementary fit' display in terms of their relationship seems to be for Meghan to adopt a maternal presence while Harry acts in a more childlike mode."

She continued "He could almost be one of her kids with many of the references, especially the rather humiliating-sounding comment about giving him a towel, with the comment that 'He sweats.'"

"This is performed with an air of fond indulgence but no signs of respect from Meghan towards the man who is a prince.

“He looks tamed and happy in his role though as though the maternal approach makes him feel comfortable in some way," she added.

"Her comment sounds more like an indulgent put-down."
