Gayle King has finally addressed the reports claiming that she is parting ways with CBS News.
The 70-year-old TV personality opened up about her future at the network while speaking to Daily Mail at the 2025 Footwear News Achievement Awards on Wednesday, December 3.
"I'm still there, I'm planning to be there," said Gayle, who has hosted CBS Mornings under various titles since 2012.
When the reporter asked Gayle if there was anything she could share about the situation, she responded, "No, what do you know?"
In October, Variety reported that Gayle is considering leaving the network's morning show next year, as her contract with CBS is set to end in May.
"There have been no discussions with Gayle about her contract that runs through May 2026," the network told the outlet at that time.
"She’s a truly valued part of CBS and we look forward to engaging with her about the future," CBS news said in its statement.
For those unvested, the 2025 Footwear News Achievement Awards took place at Cipriani, 25 Broadway, downtown, on Wednesday.
At the star-studded event, Gayle looked graceful in a red blazer and matching trousers.
When asked what she would be doing this Christmas, the TV host replied, "Eating."
