Meghan Markle appeared to have dropped big clues she wants to return to the royal family after years-long feud, an expert has claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex sparked new talk about a royal reunion after she shared warm memories of her time with Royal Family in her Netflix Christmas special.
In With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, Prince Harry’s wife smiled as she remembered British traditions like pulling Christmas crackers and sharing small jokes at the table.
An expert has pointed out that Meghan’s timing is interesting, as King Charles is said to want to see Prince Harry’s children, even though his busy trip to the United States next year leaves almost no time for a meeting.
Writing for The Mirror, Jennifer Newton penned, “Of course, Meghan talking about her time in the Royal Family is nothing new. We all remember the accusations and criticisms levelled in the likes of the infamous Oprah Winfrey interview and the controversial other Netflix show.”
She added, “But this feels like the first time she's really looked back on her time spent with the Firm with a hint of positivity and even nostalgia of spending time in a country she nowadays barely visits.
“Maybe this could be the biggest sign yet that Meghan wants to put the seemingly never-ending feud between the Sussexes and the Firm to an end by offering what could be perceived as an olive branch?
“Or was it just another way of the Duchess reminding us all of her royal connections, which have helped her get such a big platform on the likes of Netflix?
“Regardless of the true motivation for the move, it was unexpected in some ways, but it remains to be seen if it's enough to truly start the process of burying the hatchet.”
