Neil Patrick Harris reacts after Abby Lee Miller heavily airbrushes his face
Harris, finding himself unrecognisable after the photo edit, raised his concern immediately
Neil Patrick Harris has publicly called out Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller after she posted a heavily filtered photo of them on Instagram.
The photo was taken on December 2 as Miller, 60, attended a performance of the Broadway revival of ART, starring Harris, 52, Bobby Cannavale, and James Corden. She later praised the production on Instagram with a carousel of photos, including snapshots with the cast.
Harris, finding himself unrecognisable after the photo edit, raised his concern immediately.
“Ummm… what did you do to my face..?” Harris commented under the post, attracting thousands of likes as followers agreed the actor looked overly airbrushed with smoothed-out skin and altered facial features.
Miller responded the next day, saying she relies on filters because of her past battle with Burkitt lymphoma and invasive chemotherapy treatments. “I’m sticking with the filters!” she wrote, assuring Harris he “always look[s] fabulous.”
Fans still leaned into the joke, teasing that he’d been “victimized by Facetune,” or asking if he “still wanted [his] nose.” Others joked she’d edited him back to his Doogie Howser era.
Even the official ART and FaceTune accounts joined in with tongue-in-cheek comments.
