Reba McEntire shares insights into her upcoming wedding day with her fiancé, Rex Linn and how they plan to celebrate their big day.
On Monday, December 1, the 70-year-old singer revealed on the 3rd Hour of Today that she and Rex will focus on what's important to them on their special day.
"A Reba/Rex wedding is going to be very different," the 70-year-old singer shared on the 3rd Hour of Today on Monday, Dec. 1. "It's going to be low-key, lots of fun, lots of people, lots of food. Our big motto is just have fun."
For those unversed, the pair began dating in 2020 and got engaged last year on Christmas Eve.
"A lot of people did not know," Reba said. "And when he asked me to marry him, it was Christmas Eve a year ago. So we were gonna announce it when we got back to L.A., but the fires happened. And there was not room for our joy in the devastating situation that everybody else was in."
Reba revealed that she and Rex decided to wait to break the news until a reporter asked in September about his fiance and she chose not to correct her as she felt "good" about it.
It is pertinent to mention that Reba was previously married to Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987.
She also got married to producer Narvel Blackstock in 198,9 who parted ways in 2015.
Elsewhere in the interview, host Savannah Guthrie called Rex, Reba's husband, which she corrected on the spot.
“Now, wait a minute. Before everybody has a conniption fit at home, we’re just engaged,” Reba said to Savannah.
