Gwen Stefani clears up rumors about breakup with Blake Shelton

Gwen Stefani has shut down reports suggesting that her relationship with husband Blake Shelton is on the rocks.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the 56-year-old singer put split rumors to rest by sharing a sweet snap of herself with her hubby.

In the shared selfie, the Rich Girl hitmaker can be seen smiling as the country crooner kisses her on the cheek.

Meanwhile, an insider close to the couple also dismissed the split rumors. 

“This is a completely made-up story created solely for headlines and clicks," the confidant told Page Six.

Rumors of Gwen and Blake's split sparked after the couple skipped the CMA Awards on November 19.

It is pertinent to mention that Blake was nominated in the 'Musical Event of the Year' category at the award show for his collaboration with Post Malone on the track, Pour Me a Drink.

At that time, an insider told E! News that the pair didn't attend the CMA awards because they planned to watch the star-studded ceremony on "their TV this year."

For those unversed, Gwen and Blake exchanged vows on July 3, 2021.

Previously, in an interview with the Guardian, Gwen said that Blake gave her "a second chance at life" after her messy divorce from her first hubby, Rossdale.

“Meeting my husband felt like a second chance at life, because when my family fell apart, it was a catastrophe," she told the outlet.
