Jayme Lawson shares 'Sinners' cast's reaction to Grammy nominations
'Sinners' has received five nominations for the 2026 Grammys
Jayme Lawson recently got candid and revealed that the Sinners cast group chat has been burning bright after the film received five Grammy nominations.
On November 9, the 28-year-old attended the premiere of The Running Man, where she talked about Sinners, an American horror film, which was produced, written, and directed by Ryan Coogler.
At the event, Lawson told PEOPLE magazine that the ensemble cast of Sinners, which consists of Michael B. Jordan, Miles Caton, Wunmi Mosaku, and Hailee Steinfeld, is still occupied even after the film was released.
She said, “Oh, we talk constantly. The group chats are on fire. It was a lot of [screaming], you know, back and forth with each other [after the Grammy nominations were announced].”
“I love my [Sinners] family, and it's exciting that I get to see them and hang out with them,” The Batman star stated.
For those unaware, Sinners, which was released on April 18 2025, has earned five nominations for the 2026 Grammys.
It is pertinent to mention the starry cast is expecting more prizes, such as a few Academy Award nominations.
