Prince Harry is reportedly planning a major celebrity boost for the Invictus Games 2026.
According to Closer Magazine, insiders have revealed that the son of King Charles is hoping to make a splash in 2026 by enlisting A-listers to support his philanthropist endeavours.
As per the insiders, Jennifer Lopez is emerging as Harry's top choice for the partnership. "He’s reaching out to everyone that he’s got a connection to and right now. Jennifer Lopez is the most thrilling prospect for him, because he’s very starstruck by her."
For those unaware: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a dinner with Jennfier in the past after stepping down from their royal roles. Sources claim that 'starstruck' Prince "bragged" about it for months. "Harry spent a lot of the night chatting with J.Lo, who is not only even more stunning in person but also extremely charismatic. Most men are totally captured by her, and Harry is only human," the source noted.
Now, if Harry could land Jennifer for Invictus event "it would be phenomenal for the charity and a thrill for him too!" However, the sources suggest that Meghan could be feeling uneasy given that she even left that dinner with Jennifer "feeling very jealous."
There’s certainly nothing shady going on but it’s hard to imagine that Meghan will be all that pleased about this," the source noted. "It’s not something that will be on her radar at this stage though, until Harry gets her on board he’ll keep it himself, he’s not going to want to rock the boat for no reason."
As Harry continues to prove himself after stepping down from Sentebale earlier this year, the source suggests the actress' involvement would mean "loads of free publicity."
"Harry has a lot riding on Invictus, after the disaster with his charity in Sentebale and after all of the embarrassment of having to resign he really needs a big win. He knows all eyes are on him and Invictus so he’s ready to take some big swings," they said.
Adding, "He wants to prove himself again and erase this mark on his record by taking Invictus to the next level."
The source notes that while "there are plenty of other names on his list" Jennifer Lopez is "his number one.
Prince Harry "wants to align with as many stars as possible and obviously Hollywood is the gateway to that."
