‘Third world countries’ migration suspended? Inside Trump’s major move after DC attack
Trump’s decision comes after the deadly shooting of two National Guard members near the White House
US President Donald Trump has announced plans to permanently pause migration from all “third world countries” on the grounds of deadly DC attack.
Taking to X, Trump outlined sweeping plans to tighten immigration rules on Truth Social posts.
According to the President, the US would “permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover.”
However, Trump did not specify the countries included in the third world. He said the recent plan would include cases which are approved under former President Joe Biden’s administration.
Besides suspension on migration, Trump’s major move contains following sweeping rules:
- Cancellation of all federal benefits
- Annulment of subsidies to “noncitizens” in the country
- Terminating all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions
- Removing anyone who is not a part of a net asset to the US
- Deporting any foreign national who carries a public charge, poses a security risk, and is “non-compatible with Western civilization.”
- Revoking the citizenship of the migrants who disrupt domestic peace and tranquillity.
The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that Trump has given them orders to re-assess every green card holder from 19 concerned countries.
According to officials from the Department of Homeland Security, Trump ordered a review of asylum cases approved under Biden’s policies.
Prior to that USCIS suspended all immigration applications from Afghan nationals.
His decision came after two National Guard members were shot near the White House on Wednesday. As per investigation, an Afghan national carried out this attack.
