Dolly Parton advised to take health concerns seriously: Report
Dolly Parton has been hit with major health issues since the death of her husband Carl Dean
Dolly Parton is reportedly on doctor-ordered rest.
However, reports have established that slowing down is proving harder than expected for the musical legend.
According to a new report from RadarOnline.com, the country music icon has been recovering at her ranch in Brentwood, Tennessee after being hit with a painful infection caused by kidney stones.
However, sources addressed that Parton has not exactly embraced downtime.
Instead of recharging, the 78-year-old star has been growing restless and eager to jump back into work.
Although she recently reassured fans, “I ain't dead yet,” insiders said that her frustration has been mounting.
“Dolly doesn't know the meaning of sitting still,” a source told the outlet.
For those unversed, Parton's health took a downturn after the passing of her husband, Carl Dean.
Her unstoppable work ethic, something long admired, is now raising concern among those close to her.
“It's understandable to a degree because her hard wiring means that being a workaholic is second nature to her,” the insider added.
The source even stated, “But the worry is that she's once again pushing herself without taking the adequate rest.”
