Meghan Markle has come under fire yet again, and this time around its for all the ‘preaching’ she’s done about the Holiday season.
For those unversed, all these comments come in preparation for the Christmas special episode of With Love, Meghan that is slated to release on December 3.
However, given her claims about ‘the people we love’ royal reporter Jasmine Carey turned to Express UK and penned a piece noting the ‘hypocrisy’ of it all.
She started by noting how, “in the trailer, Meghan talks about connecting with ‘the people we love’ and bringing joy. And it is these statements alone that will open the floodgates for criticism.”
After all “Christmas and the festive period is a time for spending with loved ones, which is something Meghan is preaching. But isn’t she actually distant from many loved ones? Her father, who she hasn’t spoken to for years? The Royal Family?” the writer questioned.
While the writer does admit later on that Meghan “is entitled to choose who she does want in her circle and who she doesn’t.” Still the fact that she is preaching “about loved ones and joy, when many people know that she has lost some of the family connections that should be among the most important to her, will be too tempting for her critics not to mention.”
“Especially as many of these critics think the duchess herself is to blame for these distant relationships,” she added before signing off too.
