Prince Louis' newly resurfaced video from the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee shows  how close he is to his grandfather, King Charles.

The adorable clip, now doing the rounds on Instagram, captures a moment in the royal box where Louis was excitedly shouting “Pa!” not at King Charles, but at Prince William.

William relayed the message to his amused father, setting off a heart melting grandpa grandson exchange that the internet can’t get enough of.

Fans will remember Louis turning the 2022 celebrations into something of a royal comedy special pulling funny faces, blowing raspberries, sliding under his seat, and leaving Princess Kate wearing the classic “mum at a-public event” smile while managing a sugar charged toddler.

In the resurfaced video, William can be heard asking, “Grandpa, can Louis sit on your knee?” Seconds later, a gleeful Louis climbs straight onto King Charles’ lap, sending Queen Camilla into a fit of giggles and melting hearts across social media.

Royal fans quickly flooded the comments with praise for the pint sized charmer:

“Louis always has such friendly mischief in his eyes,” one wrote.

Another added, “The bond between the King and his little grandson is just lovely.”

And that bond is no surprise. While he may be King Charles to the world but to five lucky children he’s simply “Grandpa Wales.”

Queen Camilla once shared that he takes the role very seriously especially storytime.

“My grandchildren adore him… he reads Harry Potter and does all the voices,” she revealed. “Children *love* that.”

Between Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and Archie and Lilibet in California, the King is certainly a busy grandfather.
