US lawmakers have taken fresh aim at Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, blasting the former Duke for what they call a “deafening silence” in their ongoing probe into Jeffrey Epstein’s web of crimes.
The House Oversight Committee had requested a formal, transcribed interview with the disgraced former duke about his years long friendship with Epstein, who died by suicide in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking.
But according to the two Democrats on the committee, Andrew has gone completely quiet and they’re done being polite.
Representatives Robert Garcia and Suhas Subramanyam didn’t mince their words, declaring, “Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s silence speaks volumes.
The documents have been reviewed with public evidence and Virginia Giuffre’s testimony raise serious questions he must answer. Yet he continues to hide.”
They warned that the inquiry will press on with or without the royal’s cooperation, adding, “We will hold anyone involved in these crimes accountable, regardless of wealth, status, or party. Justice for survivors comes first.”
One of Epstein’s survivors, Marina Lacerda, is leading the charge.
Speaking to 5 News, she delivered a blistering message straight to Andrew, “If I got accused of something this outrageous, I’d want to clear my name.
Clear up your name. And if you did do any wrongdoing, own up to it. You have a family, you have daughters and daughters who have daughters.”
Lacerda, who met Epstein at just 14 years old, also urged Sarah Ferguson, Princess Beatrice, and Eugenie to speak up if they know anything though there is no evidence they had any knowledge of wrongdoing.
Referencing Andrew’s now-infamous “Pizza Express” alibi, she said, “It would be the right thing for them to be subpoenaed.
He said he was having pizza with his daughters, right? It would be nice to have some transparency there. I’d hope his daughters would be truthful."
