Billie Eilish sparks meme fest with latest stunt

Billie Eilish became a subject of a meme fest after her latest stunt.

Earlier this week, the Lovely hitmaker delivered two shows in Phoenix as part of her Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 18 and 19.

During the second day when the Grammy winner took the Matchup Center in Phoenix, formerly known as PHX Arena, she performed Ocean Eyes, marking the 10th anniversary of the song.

Taking to her official X (formerly Twitter) account, the What Was I Made For? singer shared a clip of herself delivering an emotional performance, along with a caption that left fans doing a double-take.

The post, seemingly written by her or someone on her team , read, "Billie performing ocean eyes on the 10-year anniversary of the song in Phoenix, Arizona."

The third-person phrasing quickly sparked a wave of jokes, with some fans teasing that Eilish must run a separate fan account and simply forgot to switch profiles.

One user even asked, "You run your own fan account?" followed by a second user, "Either she is a S tier troller or she forgot to switch accounts."

A curious fan inquired, "third Billie… do you have an update account somewhere that u forgot to switch to…"

A fourth joked, "byebye intern. its been nice knowing you. This account always posts in third person…"

Just as the meme storm took off, an Eilish fan chimed in to point out that this is how she usually posts.

"The way everyone is tweaking when this is essentially a promo account that Billie doesn’t post on, not to be that guy but I mean look at literally every other post on her account lol," the supporter defended.

After completing her Arizona gig, Eilish has made a stop in San Francisco, CA, scheduled to take place over the weekend.

The first show was on Saturday, November 22, and then she will conclude the North American leg on November 23, 2025.
