Adam Peaty's mum praises sister as arrest and wedding ban rock household

Adam Peaty's mother, Caroline, has paid an emotional tribute to her sister Louise, calling her 'protector,' amid the ongoing family rift with her son. 

It emerged on Monday that Caroline, 59, has been snubbed from the guest list for the Olympic champion's Christmas wedding to Holly Ramsay, 25, following a fierce dispute. 

The family has even accused Adam of behaving like a 'narcissist' over the situation.

As the feud became public, Adam's aunt Louise openly criticised both her nephew and Holly through a series of Instagram comments, where she also explained why her sister was excluded from the bride's hen celebrations. 

Over the weekend, Caroline also spoke for the first time about the fallout in an exclusive interview with the DailyMail, breaking down as she claimed that Holly's family had 'distanced' Adam from her.

In a post on Instagram, Caroline shared the couple: 

'The moment you realise: The little sister who once drove you crazy is now the one who keeps you sane.-your loudest supporter and forever best friend.'

'She eventually becomes the comfort zone which every elder sister secretly needed all alone.' 

Caroline added the caption: 'Louise I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being my protector through this difficult time x.

'To the people who are being so cruel to my sister, please stop! 'Sadly you obviously don't understand the bond of sisters.' 

The tension reportedly escalated further when Adam's brother, James, was arrested over allegations that he sent a series of threatening messages to the swimmer during his stag trip in Budapest-leading Adam to take refuge at his future father-in-law Gordon Ramsay's home.
