Future queen Kate Middleton receives key to live long
Kate Middleton always pays respect to senior citizens whenever she steps out to attend public event.
During her latest outing on Tuesday, the Princess was left in awe by a 100-year-old veteran whose remarkable story gave the royal hope to live long.
Bill Redston shared the secret of a long life with Princess Kate on November 11.
Kate, 43, met the veteran after marking Armistice Day at a Service of Remembrance at the National Memorial Arboretum.
The Princess asked Redston about his tips for a long life, the answer left Kate in awe.
According to PA reporter Stephanie Wareham, the royal was surprised to find out that he ran the London Marathon at age 65 and the New York City Marathon the following year.
The answer was enough to understand that it requires too much effort to make a hundred years of life.
The Princess of Wales, who keeps participating in sports activities, hasn't completed any marathons. However, she is an avid tennis player, cold water swimmer and pursuer of other athletic endeavours.
The mother of three is in remission from cancer, taking time to adjust to a new normal after completing her treatment. She's inspiring others with her strength and resilience.
Kate's journey is truly a testament to her strength. She was diagnosed with cancer in March 2024 and underwent preventative chemotherapy. She's now returning to the public life while focusing on her health.
